BARE runs in a semesterly cycle. We publish one magazine at the end of each semester and so, in accordance, we hold applications at the beginning of each semester. If you’d like to join the magazine, visit this website at the start of the next semester for application info.
The magazine is run by separate divisions, each with it’s own director.
Creative: Conceptualizes and executes the photoshoots & video content on our print magazine & website.
Print Editorial: Writes content for our print magazine.
Online Editorial: Manages & generates content for our website on a daily/weekly basis.
Layout: Designs the overall layout of the print magazine.
Marketing: In charge of publicizing the organization on campus and in the broader Berkeley community through social media.
Events: Plans the events that BARE hosts such as our speaker panel & launch party.
Business: Manages BARE’s finances and cultivate relationships with sponsors & advertisers
